Pacific Highway Auto Repair
Do not have your car repaired here. They quote you many repairs that are not needed and they are high priced. They quoted $1305 to replace the air conditioner compressor and I had it done at Edie's Tire for $580. They quoted $75 to replace the two light bulbs for the license plate. I did it for $6 and 3 minutes of time. Overall they quoted $4500 worth of repairs. The car is not worth $4500. Do not bring your car here this is the type of place that give auto repair shops a bad name.
Thank you for your feedback. Your 2006 Volkswagon Passat with 162,049 was inspected and determined that in addition to the compressor we recommended spark plugs, an ignition coil (#1) and a relay fuse. There is a big discrepancy in parts quality and price. The compressor we quoted was $688 for the part and approximately $380 labor. It is more than 3 hours labor time to install. We back our repairs with an exceptional 3 year / 36,000 mile nationwide warranty. I can't speak to another shops business policies but our mission is to elevate the image of auto repair by delivering extraordinary value without compromising quality or ethics. To cut pricing means compromising quality of parts, experienced labor and likely warranty. This is not the business model we have chosen. I am happy you found a shop to take care of your needs. All the Best!
